12/11/24 - This is a Smith and Wesson Model No. 3 revolver from the late 1800's. Chambered in .44 S&W. The top of the barrel reads "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. PAT. JULY 10. 60. JAN. 17. 17. FEB. 17. JULY. 11. 65 & AUG. 24. 69". There is no "Russian Model" marking. Overall, it is in good condition as the metal was refinished and reblued. Fitted with smooth wood grips free of any cracks or breaks. The bore is bright with good rifling but there are spotting of pitting visible. Fully functional.Specifications
