4/15/26 - For sale is a Spandau Model 1871/84 Mauser made in 1888 and issued to German Jaeger units. The rifle is in great condition for its age with a nice bluing on the metal. The barrel bands show some browning of patina. The receiver is in the white but is turning a darker grey with oxidation and patina. The stock is in very good shape with light pressure dents. The proof stamps are sharp. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has nearly matching numbers throughout, but 2 screws on the inside of the receiver are mismatched. The buttplate is marked G.R.S. 1.31. The stock has the correct swivel sling loop on the rear. The cutoff lever had a crack preventing bolt removal and was repaired.
