03/05/2024 - For sale is a very nice Krag Jorgensen Model 1898 made at the Springfield Arsenal in 1899. The rifle is in great condition overall and the metal retains a lot of its original bluing, but there are many spots of patina throughout. The wood furniture is sound with no major damage but there is a crack behind the rear sight on the upper handguard. The bore is excellent and is mirror bright with sharp rifling.
