Description

2/19/26 - This is an excellent Springfield M1C Sniper made in 1945. The rifle had undergone a 1951-1952 rebuild. The metal has a nice dark parkerized finish. The stock is in excellent shape without any cracks. Bore is bright with strong rifling, just minor frost in the grooves. The muzzle erosion rates a 4 and throat erosion 1.5. The barrel is marked SA-3-51. The scope base and mount both have the serial number stamped on the side, as seen on 51-52 rebuilds. The top of the mount is stamped "Griffin & Howe Inc, New York." The M84 scope is in excellent condition. Lens is clear with a sharp reticle. Comes with an original cheek pad.  Comes with a repro sling.
