Description
2/21/26 - This a very nice example of a Steyr Hahn Model 1912 Rig that was originally issued to the Austrian military in 1919 and then reworked and issued to the Nazi police force. The gun is all matching and has the "Eagle N" and police "Eagle L" markings. The "08" on the slide indicates it was re-chambered for 9mm luger. "Steyr 1919" marking on the slide. "W-n19" mark on the right side of the trigger guard indicating Austrian military acceptance. Has a Weimar/WW2 era unit marking on the right side of the slide "4V. 104". The gun has retained most of its original finish with wear showing on the left side of the slide, along the high edges, and on the front grip strap. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. Bright bore with deep rifling but minor frost throughout. Comes with a post-WW2 should holster that has a spurious German police marking on it. Holster is in excellent condition and the leather straps are still very pliable.
