09/06/2024 - For sale is a Winchester Model 1917 rifle made in 1918. The rifle is in great condition with a nice old parked finish that is worn very smooth. The rifle has been rebuilt at the Ogden Arsenal as its stamped on the stock. The rifle is nearly all-Winchester parts but the bolt release lever is Eddystone. The bolt assembly, barrel, bayonet lug, and rear sight are W marked. The bore is fairly bright towards the beginning and gets darker towards the muzzle. The grooves are darker and there is some minor pitting visible in the grooves about 2 inches from the muzzle.
