SOLD - Very Nice WWII Japanese Officer's Samurai Sword

9/22/26 - This is a very nice example of a WWII-era Japanese Officer's sword. The blade on this samurai sword is in great shape with no signs of any chips in the edge or scratches along the length of the blade. The blade does have a slight bend to the left, though it is minor and hard to see unless under close examination. The fittings on this sword are excellent with tight fitment. The tang hold a beautiful patina, but is unsigned, which is common for the factory produced officer's swords from WWII. The handle wrap is tight with no signs of any rips or tears. The scabbard with this sword is in excellent functional shape with no signs of any chips or cracks in the internal hard shell. The exterior leather cover shows some signs of cracking and some general wear on the finish, though there are no any rips or tears that diminish the functionality of the cover.
