7/20/26 - For sale is a ZF4 scope and mount, designed primarily for use with G43 and K43 rifles, though they were also used on FG42s and are compatible with G41s. This scope is maker-marked "dow," indicating that it was manufactured by the Czech company Opticotechna, who manufactured 50,000 ZF4s. About 40,000 of these were produced for the Wehrmacht during WWII, and 10,000 were repurposed for the Czech military. The scope is marked "Gw ZF 4" and is serialized "6886". The scope has a clear reticle and the knobs function as intended. This particular scope is mounted on a scarce Walther E/359 mount. The mount has been hand-serialized "2477" towards the front of the base. Comes with a period-correct leather and wood lens cover. No rips or tears in the leather or the stitching.
