Description
9/15/26 - The 1930 Dutch Navy, DWM/Mauser was the Mauser assembled completion of the 1928 Dutch Navy contract. These were made specifically for military sales to the Dutch Navy. Very rare - only about 645 made. This one is in the proper serial range (1485-2129) and has the proper features, such as "Double Crown U" proofs and "Rust" safety marking. All numbered parts match, including the grips and hold open. Firing pin and rear toggle pin are unmarked. The magazine is an aluminum body and base, both of which are also unmarked. The gun is in excellent condition with minor high edge and strap wear, though the toggle assembly has a polished finish which may indicate that part was refinished. Strawed small parts. Grips have some smoothing and handling wear but no cracks. Excellent, shiny bore.
