Description
6/24/26 - From the collection of Tom Whiteman. A COA will be provided. This is a very rare Walther PP that was manufactured in 1940 and sent to Persia as part of a contract order, potentially for either the police or military. This is one of only about 2,000 produced. It has Farsi legend and markings on left side slide and frame, and the Walther legend on the right side. These pistols were also chambered in the more rare and desirable 9mm Kurz. It has retained about 90% of its finish with an area of noticeable thinning on the left side of the slide. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is textured pitting along the left side of the slide and some noticeable dings and marks in the metal on the front strap. Fitted with very nice period-correct black bakelite grips. Comes with a proper 9mm finger extension Walther magazine. Mint bore.
