Description
7/23/26 - This is a very rare Walther PP that was manufactured in 1939 and sent to Persia as part of a contract order, potentially for either the police or military. This is one of only about 2,000 produced. It has Farsi legend and markings on left side slide and frame, and the Walther legend on the right side. These pistols were also chambered in the more rare and desirable 9mm Kurz. In our experience, the majority of the Persian contract pistols were reworked at the time of production, often with reblued parts or mismatched numbers. This example has a mismatched slide with serial etched internally. It has retained about 93% of its finish with thinning on the grip straps, hints of high edge wear, and some small scratches and marks here and there. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with a correct Farsi-marked 9mm magazine. Minty bore.
