Description
11/25/25 - This is an extremely rare example of the already rare U.S. Navy-issued Colt 1911 from 1912. One of the first 5,000 1911s ever produced, and one of ~7,000 issued to the Navy in 1912, the first full production year of the 1911. It has the original 1912 Navy frame and slide with a Springfield replacement (SP) barrel. There is only roughly 20% of its original bluing remaining with obvious honest wear throughout. Some scratches and dings here and there, most noticeable on both sides of the slide. Fitted with slightly worn period-correct wood grips. Comes with a proper two-tone lanyard loop magazine. Mint bore.
