8/11/26 - This is a very rare and early German Military FN Browning High Power with tangent sight and slotted frame. It is perhaps the most desirable and requested Nazi variation High Power. It is hard to estimate exact production totals for this variation as they were completed from a mixture of available parts without serial number continuity, but the total ranges span only about 3,000 digits. This example has pre-invasion Liege proofs on the slide and frame, with the single WaA613 marking on the trigger guard. The slide and frame are mismatched. The slot in frame is factory original and the grips have the prewar red paint on the back. The gun has been completely re-blued. There is general high edge / muzzle wear, some spotty/scratchy wear on the grip straps, and areas of minor pitting under the bluing on both sides of the slide. Comes with a reproduction magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is noticeable pin-pricking throughout.
