Description
11/8/21 - This is a super rare Mauser Banner Luger that was made in 1940 as part of an undelivered Dutch contract that was confiscated by the German authorities after the invasion of Holland. These pistols were later diverted to the German military and have standard acceptance proofs on the right side of the receiver. This is a third variation example, one of only 600 produced! Aside from serial range, these pistols can also be identified by the 'RUST' marking over the safety. The pistol is all matching numbers throughout and the bluing is terrific, rating at about 98%. Just a spot of finish loss on the front strap, and a little more on the back of the frame. Beautiful straw throughout. Very nice grips which are not serialized. Magazine is a period mismatch.Specifications
