______________
The Dardick 1500 is a very unusual, magazine-fed revolver. It's estimated that only 100-200 were produced before Dardick discontinued early in the 1960s. The concept of this revolver was based on a triangular cartridge, called a "tround", and a 3-chambered, open-sided cylinder. The concept was better suited for a machine gun with a high rate of fire, but Dardick applied the idea to a sidearm. It holds 15 rounds, inside a blind magazine in the grip. It is chambered for .38 caliber, essentially the same ballistics as .38 special. The guns were a complete commercial failure, with low production and lots of functional problems.
