8/11/26 - For sale is an excellent, very rare Mauser S/42G S|92 Luger tool manufactured in 1935. This tool has retained nearly all of its original finish with only hints of high-edge wear, as well as a small spot of finish loss towards the bottom of the "S" in the "S|92" stamp. The S/42G stamp, as well as the S|92 stamp are clear and legible with very minimal wear. On the back of the tool is the serial number "7973" stamped perpendicularly along the tool. It appears that the serial number may have initially been stamped higher, but to account for the needed room, was moved lower on the tool (it looks like a "3" was preliminarily stamped in between where the 9 and 7 are). The small end of the Luger tool shows some light wear, which appears to be from common use. Overall this tool is an amazing example of the S/42G variation of the very rare S|92 Luger tool.
