Description
10/29/26 - For sale is a very rare M1 Carbine made by Rock-Ola in 1943 with a "lined out" Inland receiver. In the summer of 1943, Inland supplied Rock-Ola with an estimated 1,900 receivers to help continue production during a shortage. These receivers were stamped with the Inland roll stamp, which was then lined out and re-stamped with Rock-Ola. The carbine is parts-correct for a summer of 1943 rifle. The rifle overall has an excellent phosphate finish of differing colors. The receiver and recoil plate have a nice dark color, while the slide, band, and trigger have a brighter color. The barrel has a smoother phosphate finish with some light finish wear. The bolt is blued. The stock is in great shape with little to no wear and a few surface dings. The sling well is an I-cut and is stamped inside with a stacked RMC. The handguard has a small chip on the left side, and the inside of the handguard is also stamped with a stacked RMC. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. Muzzle erosion is 1.5. A very rare, parts-correct Rock-Ola carbine built on one of the estimated 1,900 lined-out Inland receivers.
