Description
8/26/25 - This is a rare and excellent H&R Reising Model 60 semiautomatic rifle.¬ This rifle was the semiautomatic variant of the Model 50, and were typically used by the Marines for training, guard duty and other non-combat roles.¬ This variant was only manufactured from 1941-1945, and this serial would be towards the end of that range.¬ There were only about 3,000 of this model produced during the war, compared to over 120,000 of the submachine guns.¬ And of that production number, about ~2000 were parkerized.¬ This rifle shows minor thinning and patina to the metal finish. The stock is in terrific shape with no issues. Strong, shiny bore. The listing includes a canvas sling. Included for free is a reprinted H&R Reising manual and The Reising Submachine Gun Story by Frank Iannamico.
