Description
8/5/26 - This is a nice example of a very rare first-variation Zero Series Walther P.38. One of only about 1,000 produced, it features the hidden extractor and rectangular firing pin. This particular example has all matching numbers and "Eagle 359" proofs throughout. Fitted with correct matching-numbered and "Eagle 359" proofed grips. It does comes with a matching-numbered magazine. The earliest 1st var mags have a flat base (no dimple), and this example does as well. The first ~850 serials feature only one E/359 proof on the spine, as well. The original finish on the gun rates roughly 80-85%. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also spotty/scratchy wear along the right side of the slide, general high edge wear, and muzzle wear. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. The De-cocker is functional.
