Description
4/8/26 - Extremely rare early VKT-produced Lahti L-35, part of the first Series I “Rejected” pistols manufactured during wartime production. These pistols were not mechanically defective; rather, they were set aside after inspection for minor cosmetic or dimensional reasons and were not accepted into standard Finnish military issue. Instead, they were released for private purchase by Finnish military officers and senior personnel, and are often regarded as officer-owned or presentation-type pistols rather than front-line service arms. Fewer than 100 examples of this earliest rejected series are believed to have been produced. Correct brown VKT-marked grips remain in excellent condition. Matching serial numbers on frame, slide, and bolt. Early configuration consistent with first-series VKT manufacture. A scarce and historically important Lahti variant illustrating the earliest wartime production and officer private-purchase program. Import marked on the edge of the magazine well. Comes with an "SA" marked Finnish holster, cleaning rod, brush, two magazines, and tool. The gun has retained about 96% of its finish with just minor general high edge wear. Minty bore.
