Description
9/10/25 - This is a Waffen-proofed Walther PPK issued to the Nazi military in about 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 359" military proofs on the slide and frame. This is a WW2 veteran bring-back and comes with original copies of the capture document and Certificate of Retention. Both list the name of the US soldier who captured this gun, Fred Sexton. The gun also comes with a generic leather holster. Hand-written inside the holster is Sexton's name and the serial number of this gun. So we have to assume this is the way it came home from the war. The finish on the frame of the gun has a really nice plum-colored tint to it. It pairs really nicely with a beautiful and desirable gray-colored grip with splashes of red and black. The gun has lost roughly half of its finish with significant wear along both sides of the slide. The left side of the slide also shows some oxidation and pin-pricking. Mint bore.
