Description

3/13/17 - This is an original late WW2 German production Walther AC45 P.38. The pistol has all of the late war features, yet is in near mint condition for such a late war piece. Most late war P.38s have a rougher look, but this pistol has very nice, strong bluing and craftsmanship throughout. The biggest deterrent for the gun's condition is the thinning on the front strap. The front strap has most of the wear on the entire pistol. The only other area I found with wear is on the top of the slide there are a few spots of discoloration. The bore is excellent overall, and achieves and 8/10 due to some minor residue in the barrel, but overall very clean with strong rifling for an easily shootable piece. Guaranteed original, all matching, and fully functional.
