Description
9/2/26 - This is a sixth variation Walther Model 4, manufactured in about 1922-23 and chambered in 7.65mm. It is all matching and "Crown N" proofed. The safety lever appears to be a homemade replacement but seems to function fine. The gun's finish rates roughly 50%. The majority of the finish loss is on the whole slide, where there are also areas of cold blue touch-up. There is also wear on the grip straps and areas of pitting on the left side of the slide and frame. Fitted with period-correct black hard rubber grips and comes with one magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
