Description
4/13/26 - This is a very nice Walther Olympia Fünfkampf pistol made in the late 1930's. The original design was actually developed for use by the German Olympic team who used it during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Germany won both the Gold & Silver medals in the 25 meter Rapid Fire Pistol matches during those games. The Olympia is a single-action, blow-back pistol with an internal hammer and push-button magazine release. This is the "Fünfkampf" version, or "Pentathlon" of the Olympia pistol. It is chambered for the .22 Long Rifle and has a 7.5 inch barrel. This example has retained about 92% of its original bluing. There is muzzle wear, minor high edge wear, and some minor wear along both sides of the barrel. Mint bore. Very nice target-style grips.
