SOLD - Walther PP AKAH Holster - Leading Edge

7/6/26 - For sale is a Walther PP Leading Edge-style holster from WW2. This particular holster is structurally sound with no rips or tears in the leather. The leather itself is sturdy but pliable. There are some light surface cracks on the flap, the lid, and the strap which is common due to the regular flexing and manipulating of these areas. None of the cracks go through the leather. The stitching throughout the holster is strong and tight with no signs of any rips or pulling threads. The inside of the lid bears a strong "P.P." designation stamp just above "Weisbaden Stadtrevierförsterei Platte". Weisbaden would be the name of the city of Wiesbaden and Stadtrevierförsterei Platte translates to Municipal Forest Ranger District. On the inside left side of the lid, perpendicular to the other text, it says "Magistrat der Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden Amt für Landwirtschaft n. Forsten Stadtrevierförsterei Platte", which translates to "Magistrate of the State Capital of Wiesbaden, Office for Agriculture and Forestry, Municipal Forest Ranger District". The same Weisbaden Stadtrevierförsterei Platte stamps can be found within the holster underneath the magazine pouch, as well as inside the flap. On top of the flap, underneath the strap is the "D.R.G.M." Akah stamp in the leather.
