SOLD - Walther PP - Danish Police Contract

10/30/20 - This is a very nice example of a Walther PP that was order by the Danish Police from the Walther factory in 1940. This is evidence by the Danish Police unit marking on the left side of the frame "Rplt. Nr. 3735" (done at the Walther factory) and the lanyard ring on the butt of the frame. These were ordered directly from the factory. This one is in exceptional condition for this variation as most were later reworked. This one is completely original and unaltered. This particular gun has retained about 90-92% of its original bluing. The fire blue on the safety lever is almost completely in tact. The profile views are excellent - most of the wear is on the straps. There is minor muzzle wear, wear on the high edges of the slide, and some light scratching along the peak edge of the right side of the slide. Light pin-pricking on both straps. There is one spot of discoloration on the underside of the trigger guard and a small area of oxidation on the underside of the slide. Comes with excellent Walther grips and a proper Walther banner magazine. The bore is near-mint.
