6/25/19 - This is a Luftwaffe contract Walther PP from early 1942, with near-matching magazine. These are distinct in that they are in that they are waffen proofed on the slide and frame, feature high-polish blue and their magazines are numbered on the base plate. They were issued with two numbered magazines, but this one comes with one magazine that is fewer than 100 digits off. The original finish covers about 70-80% of the gun with thinning on all major faces of the pistol. The gun has matching frame and slide with eagle/N proofs on the slide, barrel and ejection port. Mechanically it is in good condition and has an excellent, shiny bore.
