11/5/19 - This is an original Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung. It is marked"R.F.V. 19701 W" on the back strap. This Nazi department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters - much like our own IRS and border police. It is a factory variation which means these were produced in connection a factory contract and the markings are all factory original. The pistol has a high polish finish in excellent condition (90-93% overall), with minor high-edge wear, around the muzzle, and thinning on the straps. Mint bore. Early, weighted grips in very good condition.
