8/2/26 - Here we have a Winchester Model 1917 bayonet for sale. The bayonet was manufactured in 1917 and was issued to the U.S. military. The hilt is marked 1917 and has the flaming bomb proof on the opposite side of the blade. The wood is in excellent condition on the handle with no cracks or chips. The blade appears to have been reblued at some point, as only the hilt areas was blued originally (not the entire blade). There is no sharpening or polishing present. The scabbard is in fair condition and is make from stitched leather and staples. The top staple is a bit loose.
