Description

12/9/21 - This is a nice Winchester M1917 rifle from the end of WWI. It was arsenal re-worked to some extent based of the square P and S-S.A.A. markings on the stock, but appears to be Winchester parts throughout. 'W' marking on bolt, bayo lug, front sight, receiver and barrel. Barrel is dated to June of 1918. Military flaming bomb on receiver. The finish is in great shape but likely refurbished at the arsenal. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout. Comes with original sling that is dated 1918 and maker marked.
