6/4/26- For sale is a WW2 Iron Cross. While the Nazis introduced higher level military awards, the Iron Cross remained the most famous German military decoration. The cross is composed of an iron center surrounded by a silver frame. The cross is marked on the front side with a swastika and the year 1939, the first year of WW2. The back is marked with the year 1813, the first year the Iron Cross was awarded. There is light wear and patina across the piece but no damage. The ribbon is replaced but the ring is maker marked and original. Overall in very good condition.
