SOLD - Decommissioned STG44 - Late WW2

5/23/17 - This is an original WW2 production, STG44. The rifle barrel has been plugged, and the recevier has been welded. This leaves the rifle with no remaining action. The parts however, are still all original and authentic. There is a waffen WaA21 stamp on one side of the rifle, and the serial number 2939 is stamped both on the side of the rifle and on the underside. The leather strap is in great condition and original as well. There is also an original magazine in excellent condition, but the magazine does not come out very easily. I think this was done purposefully as the magazine release doesn't work. The finish on this rifle is all original with no issues with rust or pitting. A great place holder, or collector piece from WW2.
