WW2 US Pilot Headwear Set

1/22/26- For sale is a nice grouping of American WW2 pilot's gear, including leather helmet, oxygen mask, throat microphone, and goggles. This gear was used by the US Army Air Forces and made famous by fighter pilots and bomber crews. The leather helmet is fully intact, with no notable tearing or damage to the leather. The inside is still soft and the entire helmet is flexible with no cracking or loose stitching. Both the inside and outside are stamped "Army Air Forces". The oxygen mask is fully intact, including both facemask and oxygen hose. The rubber is aged and somewhat brittle. The mask is overall about 50% flexible and 50% hardened. The hose is fully flexible and stretchy. There are a few small tears in the hose and slight rubber cracking on the mask but no pieces are in danger of tearing completely through or falling off. The goggles are fully intact, with slightly tinted lenses, a metal frame, felt backing, and elastic strap. Also included in the set are a few assorted straps and buckles, along with the short wired extension for the pilot microphone. Set is in overall very good condition.
