SOLD - Three WW2 US Pilot Blood Chits

1/7/21 - This is a set of three original US WW2 era Pilot's blood chits. These were used by pilots in case they were shot down behind enemy lines. The translation of the different languages is roughly "Dear Friend, I am an Allied fighter. I did not come here to do any harm to you who are my friends. I only want to do harm to the Japanese and chase them away from this country as quickly as possible. If you will assist me, my Government will sufficiently reward you when the Japanese are driven away." The unique feature about these three is that they are all close in number (see bottom of each), which means they belong to the same bomber / fighter group. The condition is varied, as shown in photos. All three are original. Would make a great framed display.
