SOLD - WW2 USAAF Russian Blood Chit & Small Flag

7/11/23 - This is an original US Air Force Survival Blood Chit with an original plastic carry case / cover. The blood chit was used in case an American Pilot was downed in Russian territory. The small sheet has instructions on what to do when spotted by Russian troops and hopefully would help get the American to safety. The blood chit measures about 9.5x7.5 inches and is made from a linen reinforced paper. Great condition with minimal wear. The plastic carry sleeve was often worn as a lanyard, but no lanyard is included. In addition to the WW2 era blood chit, a small US postwar flag is included in this offering.
