Description
3/19/26 - This is an original and correct Steyr Hahn M1912 that was issued to the Austro-Hungarian military during WWI and was later reworked by Mauser for use by the German police during WW2. The Steyr Hahn 1912 was manufactured in Imperial Austria, but after the 1938 German occupation of Austria some were converted to 9mm Luger. They were stamped '08' to indicate this conversion, E/N proofed, and accepted with the German Police Eagle/L. Its finish rates about 92% with minor high edge wear, muzzle wear, a small area of spotty wear on the left side of the slide, and a spot of obvious wear on the front strap. Fitted with excellent checkered wood grips. The bore has decent rifling, but shows obvious pitting throughout. The gun comes with one WW2-era box of 9mm Luger ammunition and a custom wood presentation case.
