Description
10/16/26 - This is a WWI-era DWM Luger in true battlefield relic condition. Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken was the principal maker of the P.08 for the German army during the Great War, and this pistol wears the heavy, obvious surface rust throughout that tells the story of years spent exposed to the elements. Many of the markings and numbers have been obscured or chipped away, but the numbers that can still be seen are all matching, and there are visible Imperial military acceptance proofs on the right side of the receiver. Fitted with wood grips that are also heavily worn. The only moving part is the trigger, and it is not a working firearm in its current condition. However, since it could technically be converted back into a working firearm, it does require an FFL. The bore is poor, with no visible rifling and heavy surface rust throughout. It does not come with a magazine. A haunting, one-of-a-kind piece of Great War history that makes a striking display for any WWI collection.
