10/14/25- This is a great example of a WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class. The Iron Cross was awarded for either bravery in battle or distinguished deeds in combat during a battle. The Iron Cross was a sought after medal for soldiers of the German Empire. The Iron cross was first established in 1813 and was used up through WW2. This Iron Cross has a reproduction ribbon. The cross is in good condition with mild wear and patina but no serious damage. Overall in very good condition.
