8/20/25 - Offered here is a lot of 11 original U.S. 1911 / 1911A1 flat mainspring housings, most with lanyard loops and in a variety of patterns. The lot includes:

  • 4 smooth back housings with lanyard loops (early WWI-era style)

  • 3 serrated housings with lanyard loops (WWII-era style)

  • 1 checkered housing with lanyard loop (pre-war/early production type)

  • 2 modified/dimpled housings

  • 1 likely postwar/aftermarket housing

All are in good to excellent condition with honest wear and patina. The smooth and checkered housings are the highlights of the lot, while the modified and aftermarket examples are included as throw-ins.
