Description
11/3/26 - Offered here is a WWII German box of 9mm Pistolenpatronen 08, the standard pistol cartridge for the P.08 Luger and P.38. The box holds 16 rounds, and its original blue-edged label is marked with a 1945 date and the "dou" code, with the components dated 1944. Late-war German ammunition like this was made with lacquered steel cases, and boxes dated 1945 are among the last produced before the end of the war. The condition is good overall. The cardboard box is intact, with light wear on the corners and edges and some age toning. The label is mostly legible but shows tears and some loss along one edge. The cartridges show age toning and light surface wear to the cases.
