Description
10/27/26 - For sale is a Yugoslavian Steyr M.95M Mannlicher converted to 8mm Mauser (7.92x57). The M.95M was Yugoslavia's interwar conversion of existing M1895 Mannlichers after their adoption of the FN 1924 Mauser action. The original M1895 rifles used Mannlicher en bloc clips, and the action was modified to allow the use of Mauser stripper clips and the barrel was replaced to chamber 8mm Mauser. The rifle retains a nice dark bluing but is showing its age. The surface of the receiver shows freckles of oxidation and edge wear. The bands are browning with patina. The stock is in good shape without any cracks or breaks, but it has been shortened. The surface has many dings and nicks. The serial number is faint but stamped on the left side. The handguard has a 1" crack. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, stock, trigger guard, and magazine cover.
