SOLD - German Red Cross 3 Piece Gladiator Helmet

1/10/23 - This is an original WW2 production German Red Cross helmet. The helmet was likely a Luftschutz helmet that was later diverted for Red Cross use. The dark blue spray painted shell was painted after the liner was added, hence why there are blue paint stains on the leather liner. The shell is in great condition with two external painted decals. The red cross decal appears to be hand painted and is in about 80-85% condition. The Nazi eagle holding red cross decal is in much better condition, rating around 96+%. The exterior of the shell has some mild scuffs but no major issues. There's some surface rust along the edge on the interior shell. The back visor has a stamp, "RL 2 - 38/28" and there are no other markings. The liner is in great condition.
