Description

5/8/24 - This is an excellent original Remington 1917 bayonet for a M1917 Enfield rifle or US Trench shotgun. The bayonet blade is maker stamped by Remington with a 1917 date on one side, and a US flaming bomb stamp on the other side. All markings are crisp. The blade is excellent and unsharpened with a parkerized finish, likely done at an arsenal before being issued during WW2. Metal blade has a few minor handling marks, but no major issues. The wood handle and metal hilt are in great condition. The original scabbard is also in great shape, just a few small spots where the paint has chipped.
