SOLD - RARE USMC Marine Raider Stiletto (012023-27)

Description

1/23/23 - This is an original, rare variation USMC Marine Raider Stiletto knife with a leather M6 scabbard. The knife is in excellent overall condition with a USMC etched engraving on one side, about halfway down the blade. The base of the blade is maker marked by Camillus as shown. There are a few light spots of surface discoloration and some mild surface scratches, but overall the blade is clean and excellent. The edges are unsharpened and don't have any dents or dings. The zinc handle has a sharp diamond pattern and is in great condition. The leather scabbard is excellent and unmarked. These were made in 1942 for the US Marine Corps, and about 14,000 were produced. These often saw heavy use and therefore are seldom found in this condition.
