M42 Single Decal Luftwaffe Helmet (022425-21 - AB)

Description

2/26/25 - This is a very good example of an M42 Luftwaffe helmet with a single exterior shell decal. The Luftwaffe decal is in very good condition with roughly 85-90% of the logo intact. The shell has some typical signs of aging such as surface scuffs and mild discoloration mixed with patina and original paint. The interior shell is maker stamped "ET64", as well as heat stamped "1520". The leather liner is typical of later wartime production and is very rigid leather with cracking and a few breaks and missing portions of leather. The liner has some writing inside, what can be easily read is "Luftwaft" then there is a hard to reach name, and the date "1/22/43".
