Description

4/9/25 - This is an original M40 German Army helmet with a single exterior decal. Manufactured by Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke (NS) in size 64, denoted by the marking "NS64" on the interior left side. The decal is mostly intact with about ~90% visibility. The back of the interior shell is stamped with the serial number "D162". The inside of the helmet also has a black ink stamp. leather liner and chin strap intact. It comes with an original leather carrying harness. Overall, the helmet is in very nice condition with no major damage. The paint appears to be mostly intact, but there are areas of what look like reddish-brown paint.
