Description
3/7/25 - This is a rare and desirable Colt Artillery Single Action Army revolver from 1890. It is completely matching, "US" Property marked on the frame, and has mixed "RAC" and "K"martial markings throughout (even visible on the bottom edge of the left grip panel). There are military cartouches on both grip panels, and the left side is dated 1901. We believe the barrel was cut down from 7.5" to 5.5" and likely re-blued. This gun is in very nice condition for its age (better than most) with nice bluing on the barrel and cylinder and very nice case-hardening on the frame. Noticeable splotchy discoloration on the ejector rod tube. Fully functional with all four "clicks". The bore has decent rifling with areas of surface oxidation and pitting here and there, but there is more obvious heavy pitting around the muzzle end. No FFL required.Specifications
