SOLD - Winchester Trench Shotgun Bayonet (030623-18)

Description

3/13/23 - This is an excellent, near mint example of a Winchester Trench Shotgun bayonet. The bayonet features a mint-condition blade that's maker stamped and 1917 dated on one side of the ricasso, and US Flaming Bomb ordnance stamped on the other side. No signs of sharpening and very minimal surface wear. The wood handle is excellent as well with no cracks or chips. The crossguard has some mild surface patina and edge wear, and there's spotty / speckling patina on the pommel. The scabbard has dark surface patina on the metal portions, but is still in great overall condition with a nice green leather portion that's stamped "M.F.W." on the back as shown.
