Beautiful Imperial German Bavarian Diplomatic Sword

5/13/24 - This is a beautiful presentation sword of the Imperial German era, a Bavarian court or diplomatic sword. Likely dates to before WWI. Bavarian Lion featured as its pommel figure and also the lion is seen in repose on the clamshell guard. The grips are inlaid mother of pearl with a crown and "sunburst". Beautiful fire-bluing, gold inlay, and engraving patterns on the blade. There is an inscription that reads "In Treue Fest". The blade has retained nearly all of its finish with just some very light scratching and very light freckling here and there. Comes with its original black leather scabbard. Overall, in minty condition.
