SOLD - 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger with Chain (030724-8)

5/6/24 - This is an original, 1st variation Luftwaffe Officer's Dagger. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and chain hanger. The dagger blade is shiny with minimal surface wear. There's mild scabbard rub wear and minimal micro-scratching. No signs of sharpening along the edges. The base of the dagger is maker stamped by Paul Weyersberg. The hand guard has typical patina and finish loss throughout but the swastika logos have dark yellow-gold finish mostly intact. The underside of the hand guard is unit stamped "19 84". The handle has mild handling and age wear but no major issues. Tightly wound chord on the handle. The scabbard is in near-excellent condition with clean blue stretched leather throughout. Great condition chain has no markings or stamps.
